Based just 30 minutes from Edinburgh airport, Zot specialises in supplying advanced manufacturing solutions to the electronics industry in the UK, Europe and Worldwide. Established in 1975, we are a main supplier to the electronics industry in Europe, we are the largest pcb manufacturer in Scotland, and the largest single source for the following fabrication solutions in the UK. Our plant covers over 110,000 square feet  and employing 170 full-time staff.

Whilst we excel in component manufacture, making p.c.b.s (pwbs), machining and fabrication, , we are eminently well placed to offer turnkey solutions incorporating rapid prototyping and product development. Our diverse infrastructure and short lines of communication enables "just in time", lean manufacturing. Each of our divisions are fully comprehensive of the RoHS Directive, and are able to satisfy your requirement needs.

Printed Circuit Board Manufacture

Our PCB manufacturing capability ranges from through-hole plated (THP), multilayer from 4 to 24 layer, flexi-rigid and buried/ blind microvia products, on a variety of solderable finishes and laminates, with the ability to produce tracking down to 75um.

Our strategy of zero defects, depends on our highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce, and our high technology state-of-the-art facilities, employing CAM front end engineering techniques in all areas.  

In conjunction with our fundamental commitment to quality, delivery and service and with our continuous improvement programmes utilising a variety of process & quality control tools, backed up with our fully equipped laboratory, ensures our customers of an outstanding service from a world class manufacturer. Fabrication & Machining

A precision fabrication & machining resource for the electronics industry, our front end engineering utilises the most up to date 3D software modelling  solutions, and our fabrication facilities make use of the latest advancements in CNC controlled machinery throughlaser cutting, turret presses, folding, turning and CNC Milling, with a fully equipped paint and silkscreen printing department and are manned by skilled craftsman capable of the most demanding designs. This resource covers prototype development right through to quantity production inc. machined parts and customised enclosures.

Offshore Procurement

Because of the never ending need for maintaining our customer’s competitiveness, we have created partnerships with world class manufacturing facilities in the far east, to satisfy your volume needs, and thereby create a total supply chain management solution for your procurement requirements. These suppliers are fully I.S.O.9000/UL and even QS9000 approved. Utilising our wealth of experience in monitoring and testing, ensures that offshore manufactured product, enjoys the same quality systems as in-house production.

Our manufacturing operations are comprehensive, featuring in-process and finished goods inspections of exacting standards and up-to-date test equipment.
