Purpose and objectives of the role
Form part of a small team who are responsible for the procurement of electronic /mechanical components in accordance with the manufacturing requirements for a diverse product range, including medical and aerospace applications.

The primary objective is to ensure that all daily purchasing activities are completed in a timely manner.

Main duties and responsibilities
• Responsible for On-Time Delivery of components and other materials to support production
• Placing/expediting orders with suppliers in line with the MRP system
• Assisting with RFQs from suppliers.
• Working closely with suppliers; monitoring and reviewing KPI's
• Review production shortages and overdue purchase orders.
• Reconciliation of any invoice queries

Skills
• Problem Solving skills

Maintenance Engineer (electrically bias)

Purpose and Objectives of the Role

  • Planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair of manufacturing machinery etc.
  • Key role in contributing to the improvement of Health and Safety within each division and Maintenance Department.

Qualifications

  • 18th Edition qualified + Plus
  • Hold a recognised qualification, C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • Pasma/IPAF/ 18th Edition or electrically competent (certified)
  • BTEC HND/HNC certificate and diploma in operations and maintenance engineering or a city & guilds certificate in engineering

Skills

  • Have a logical & methodical approach to fault finding/knowledge of PLC fault finding.
  • Prioritization skills.
  • Must be organised and have good organisation skills.
  • Possess mechanical/electrical experience.

SMT Technician x2 – Assembly Division

Sheet Metal

Purpose and Objectives of the Role

To set up, operate and maintain the Surface‑Mount Technology (SMT) production lines, ensuring efficient throughput, exceptional build quality and adhere to all safety and workmanship standards. The role supports new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement activities within the Assembly division.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of SMT assembly processes, reflow profiles and component packaging.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, BOMs and assembly drawings.
  • Competent user of SMT software suites and AOI programming tools.
  • Solid problem‑solving skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross‑functional team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

Solderer

Purpose and Objectives of the Role

Assisting with the assembly and sub-assembly of electrical components to a high standard using wiring and soldering following work from written instructions and diagrams.

Qualifications

  • No formal qualifications required. Good Standard of general education.

Group QHSE Manager

Admin

Ensure that the Zot Integrated Management Systems is operating consistently and effectively to the requirements of:

  • IS9001

  • AS9100*

  • ISO13485

  • ISO14001

  • Provide training, where appropriate, on new changing procedures.

  • Ensure Quality Management Systems are maintained and improved.

  • Manage the Calibration process.

  • Manage Document Control.

  • Manage Customer Database.

  • Manage Approved Supplier Database.

  • Define standards for quality activities across the business, measuring and reporting to Senior Management.

  • Organise, manage and coordinate all audits and assessments by notified bodies.

  • Respond to external audits with recommendations from findings.

  • Produce relevant and appropriate reports providing data.

  • Maintain awareness of new proposed legislation that impacts the business by communicating any changes to senior management.

  • Organise and take charge of Management Reviews.

  • Implementing & Maintaining Divisional & Company KPI’s.

  • Any other associated duties when necessary for the successful running of the business.

  • Support all health and safety-related matters.

As QHSE Manager, you will be appointed the role of Management Representative by top management of Zot Engineering Ltd. and fulfil the requirements specifically but not limited to the standards noted below: – ISO13485

  • Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are documented.
  • Report to top management on the effectiveness of the quality management system and any need for improvement.
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory and quality management system requirements throughout the organisation. ISO9100*
  • Ensuring the quality management system conforms to the requirements of this International Standard.
  • Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
  • Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and opportunities for improvement, in particular to top management.
  • Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organisation.
  • Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.

As QHSE Manager, you are identified as the management representative who shall have the responsibility and authority for oversight of the above requirements. Furthermore, as QHSE Manager and the management representative, you shall have the organisational freedom and unrestricted access to top management to resolve quality management issues.

Lastly, the responsibility of the QHSE Manager as the management representative can include liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality management system. All employees may be required to carry out other tasks as necessary for the business. These tasks will be appropriate to their skills and experience and will not be unreasonable.
